This one does not have the fixed rear vent window, just a four-window hardtop sedan. |

That isn't a '63 98, it's a '64 Jetstar 88. '63 Oldsmobiles did not have the contour running through the middle of the hood and the front edge of the hood and fenders angled out and forward at the top, '63s did not have the model script on the front of the front fenders, '63 98s had tail lights that ran up over the top edge of the fins, and '63 rear corners of the quarter panels did not angle out at the end. That isn't a 98 roofline either. '64 98s, Super 88s, and Dynamic 88s all had trim on the side at the top of edge edge of the slab side contour, only Jetstar 88s did not (as well as Jetstar 1s and Starfires, but no 4-door was available). The car in the movie is a 1964 Oldsmobile Jetstar 88 4-door hardtop. |
