So, the first ID (Guy Arab LUF) is incorrect? |

DidierF, I believe so plus here is a picture of closest Guy Arab LUF that I found that could possibly match the coaches on the main page: Link to "glostransporthistory.visit-gloucestershire.co.uk" But it looks slightly different. All in all, this is a 1954 Dennis Lancet UF/Duple Ambassador IV like johnfromstaffs mentioned. |

East Kent Road Car placed the largest single order for the Dennis Lancet UF. This is one from that order, you can see the short legend on the number plate, all these coaches had one or two digit numbered registrations. Odd that a site concerning Gloucestershire should show this coach, from Harper Brothers of Heath Hayes Staffordshire! The bodywork would look different, it's a Burlingham Seagull. Harper's garage wasn't far from the Guy factory in Wolverhampton, so I guess they would feel comfortable buying a Guy Arab UF. |
