Whatever it is, it cannot be a replica of a Mercedes-Benz SSK... SSK means Super Sport Kurz (SWB super sportscar), built around 1928, and this thing is not a sportscar or a racer. Looks more like an interpretation of the luxurious nazi-cars from mid thirties (not only because of those flags). Btw the swastika as a hood ornament was a rather often seen extra in the early twenties, with no political meaning yet. In one of my books there is an advert with several aftermarket hood ornaments, including such a symbol.

Maybe we should just list it as "Made for Movie" then.

Yes, definitely. I wouldn't even use 'Replica' in the name, as it is not more than a vague idea of a Mercedes-Benz 770, which it probably tries to impersonate.

Here are the real ones:

W07(K), 1930-38

W150, 1938-43

I assume that the base vehicle used for this modification is of US origin. Perhaps someone can identify the details, like wings, doors, windshield frame, lamp-bar, etc.

I agree. But why is it listed as a clone. :/

Still, it cannot be 'SSK', and as Alexander said, it can hardly be called a replica...

You mean it's a totally fictional Mercedes that doesn't resemble any particular model? In that case "Made For Movie Mercedes-Benz" is enough.

That's what Alexander suggested: inspired from Mercedes models, but nothing in particular.

Well, thanks to this picture I now notice that it is way shorter than a Nazi-era Mercedes. Looks like the size of a 30's Chevrolet or Ford, though.
