any ideas JCB ? cos I don't have any cab on left side means pretty much no NCK Rapier and don't think Ruston Bucyrus either perhaps a Preistman or COLES ? any othe rbritsh producers or perhaps even an import ? |

There are some similarities to the Smith 21 which is the only one with flat tracks as opposed to raised in the centre . |

Solved- Babcock Marion 47 MB , one distant picture on flickr and one text mention in old commercial motor magazine . Marions made under licence in UK by Babcock . Indeed , it would have landed on the Forever Unknown list .. like some construction vehicles surely will never be ID JCB you think this may be British ? cos Honk Kong was a british colony and many stuff in such movies was britsh or pehaps Japanese/ American ? has quite a distinct track chassis /vehicle_355600.html |

No Japanese / Asian, not many of this size excavator made in Britain. Hymac etc all went bust before smaller excavators became so popular . |
