Early Seventies'Holden Torana (LC),derived by old 1967 Opel Kadett LS fastback-sedan,but powered with 4(those of Vauxhall Viva HB) or 6(those of big Vauxhalls, like Victor/Viscount/Ventora)cyl.engines

The IMDB trivia page says:
Quote The vehicle that Joanne (Alison Routledge) steals when she goes after Zac and Api is a Holden Torana LJ (1972-73).

Is that talking about the same car?

Yes,but belongs to two different series of same named model(early Torana dates back 1969 and lasted until 1980)

Yes, very late 60's/early 70's GM small car looking.. and has alot in common lookswise with the Ascona A and Vauxhall Viva of this period.

This is without a doubt the LJ Torana 4-door sedan. Underneath, the (monocoque) chassis is similar to that of the HB Vauxhall Viva; indeed the 4-cylinder versions shared the front quarter panels and bonnet with the HB Vauxhall Viva (sold as HB Torana in Australia), however the six cylinder versions had an extended wheelbase (from the firewall forward) and unique sheetmetal.

The engine fitted would probably be a Holden 'red' six cylinder somewhere between 2250cc to 3300cc (this engine is not related to any Opel sixes) however the engine bay will easily fit a Holden or Chev V8 and given the size of the bonnet scoop, such a conversion may have taken place in this vehicle.

The black plastic egg-grate grille denotes it as an LJ, as the LC had a silver/grey pressed tin grille (black on the GTR) which joined to the headlights; it did not leave a strip of body work between the grille and headlights as seen here.

Definitely not an Opel, nor a Vauxhall, although the GM DNA is definitely there in the parts you can't see (Vauxhall) and the styling (Opel).
