Actually, the markings are still the same for the most part. If I'm correct, the same paint scheme and door star is still used up to this day. Besides the addition of miscellaneous decals all over the car, I believe the only real significant change is that the word "POLICE" is now spread out in a much larger font across the bottom of both doors. |

It is either a '76 or '77. The two-headlight front fascia WAS available in 1975 on the civilian Gran Fury Brougham version as opposed to the four-headlight nose, but it was NOT available on the police-package Gran Fury Pursuit. That particular headlight arrangement with intergral inboard vertical turn signals did not become available on Gran Fury Pursuits until the 1976 model year. In 1976 and 1977, all versions of the Gran Fury had the two-headlight nose, police or civilian. |
