It's a Rolls Royce. 1962 Silver Cloud, I think.

URC is County Borough Council of Derby, October 1960 to January 1961, so it will be Silver Cloud Series II if the number is genuine.

DVLA details for URC 900 are:
Date of Liability 01 01 1984
Date of First Registration 01 01 1961
Year of Manufacture Not Available
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 6230cc
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type PETROL
Export Marker N
Vehicle Status Unlicensed
Vehicle Colour BLACK
Vehicle Type Approval Not Available

However it's registered as a Bentley. Other info (date of 1st reg, engine) match the plate issue info as ^.

If the cylinder capacity is 6230 cc, it confirms the V-8 engine and then, the S-2. It is interesting to think a bit about the photo and the manufacturer.

If someone make a research through imcdb pages and looks for a Bentley, this someone will find this photo. I wonder if she will read, or not, the explanations that confirm Bentley in place of an obvious Rolls-Royce.

In other words, the question is: should we remark it as a Rolls-Royce (fake) or a Bentley (modified), or some words such as modifed for film to prevent futures misunderstandings?

Whatever system we use has to be able to accommodate eg /vehicle_601142-Ford-Custom-500-1971.html , /vehicle.php?id=58317 , /vehicle_74601-Opel-Omega.html etc with some degree of a consistent logic. I think we have the correct system for basing the ID on the original starting point rather than the (possibly bastardised) end product.
