Back it a 1971 GMC Astro 95 or equivalent Chevy Titan 95 |

And before this picture was shot, the White WAS an early-1970's GMC Astro: http://us.imdb.com/title/tt0076729/goofs |

This GMC - /vehicle_61080-GMC-Astro-95.html I'm not sure that it's a goof, it could be made specially by the film editor (a kind of shortening the time - next race). -- Last edit: 2006-10-30 01:18:45 |

You really have a problem with the meaning of "left" and "right". Do I have to put a cross on the one on the right, like for /vehicle_21560-Mack-B-77.html#Comment144000 ? |

this truck is probably a 1970 White 7000 Link to "www.hankstruckpictures.com" |

and for anyone that wants info on the Kenworth it is a 1973 Kenworth W-900, it's a 50th anniversary Gold Logo, but I do know that this is a thread for the White 7000, un-like Rhino, I'm just throughing in my 2 cents |

yes black smoke thats what happens when a diesel truck is running its a result of the diesel fuel mixing with the air and plugs, its like a car and smoking when it gets cold |
◊ 2011-09-04 07:51 |
^Plugs as in spark plugs? Diesel engines don't have spark plugs. |

the black smoke was normal for a truck that old, what is happening is a truck drag race. no smoke control on old engines like that one. the drivers used to put a dime [ten cent piece ] in the return lines . |
