How come on this site we use the term "Klasse" for Mercs instead of "Class"? I'm aware that klasse is the German world for class but in English we say "Mercedes C-Class" instead of "Mercedes C-Klasse". Was it carried over from when the site was French-only, maybe we could have "Class" for the English version of the site and "Klasse" for the German version. -- Last edit: 2006-10-16 02:07:39 |

Originally they were listed as "Classe C" (French) but we decided some time ago to use the original (i.e. German) term. But maybe it would be better to use the term used in the country, so Classe/Class/Klasse/... depending on the country where the movie was made. Same for BMW, instead of just "3" we could use "Série 3" (French), "3-Series" (English), "3er" (German), ... -- Last edit: 2006-10-16 10:39:30 |
