Hahaha! A Ford Ka in what's supposed to be San Francisco, and displayed in a very prominent positon. |

Can't believe this one's on the trailer! It's pretty hard to import a foreign car into the US, and why even bother with a Ka? |

Wasn't sold in Mexico? |

This movie is full of cars in the wrong place. One star. |

It could have been assembled in Flat Rock, MI and imported from there. |

It's CGI |

What a waste of money! The working time of the drawer costs more than this shitty car in reality. |

Yes, the Ka is the cheapest car, you can buy in Germany (together with the Fiesta), but it destroys itself after a few years. |

How do say the name? Is it "K-A" or "Kah"? I never really knew. |
◊ 2013-11-17 01:19 |
Kah. |

IIRC Sandie is right: kah. But the ah is very short ... maybe Ford should have put an exclamation mark after it. Or something. Or never produced the thing, better still. |

Unfortunately Ford never released an Si version which would have been known as Ka Si. pronounced khazi (= another word for toilet). On the same theme, I'm still amazed that the name Kia Soul was retained for English-speaking markets ... |

It always remind me of Jungle Book: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kaa |

Why would anyone make a CGI Ford Ka for and intentionally place it in a prominent position in a scene that's supposed to be San Francisco? Strangest thing ever. |

BTW, it's named after the Egyptian word for 'k' and is not a stylized version of the word 'car' as many people assume. |

They most likely used pre-made CGI cars |

what about the Dacia Sandero ?? that is cheaper and bigger -- Last edit: 2013-12-16 17:45:05 |

I mean from the used cars, not new ones. -- Last edit: 2013-12-16 18:15:10 |

I agree. They even had the wrong license plate in the Philippines (I assume). The common license plate in the Philippines even after a new license plate was made has this format: ABC 123 for cars. They probably made the wrong California license plate as seen in a Ford Crown Victoria Interceptor which has all numbers and the common format of CA license plates is: 1ABC234. They had the Hong Kong taxi wrong as the common Hong Kong taxi is the Toyota Crown Comfort and they had a Ford Taurus in Hong Kong which is legendary to find one in Hong Kong and they never had the Ford Transit Connect in Japan if not, very rare. |

Ford never sold the Ford Ka in the United States so, why would they even add the Ford Ka if the car itself isn't sold in the United States? |
