The only E34 touring (wagon) with a wide kidney grille is the 530i - the 525i used a narrower one, unitl 1995, when the wide one was adapted. This car is used in one or two scenes. Very minor use. Driven sedately - nothing special.

This is another instance where multiple cars were used. The upholstery is different in several scenes. One car is a 525i economy package car and the others have the luxury package. Pay attention to the horizontal folds of leather in one scene and vertical folds (base/economy 525i) in the next. No NA 530i had an economy package, because most US dealers did not order them that way.
