Yes. Interesting, why they thought, that the former headquarters of the Polish Communist Party will look good as... "zentralflughafen" in West Berlin... |

I think it's meant to be Tempelhof airport, a massive Third Reich edifice which does indeed have the word "Zentralflughafen" above the entrance. I suppose that they were too cheap to go to Berlin and film the real thing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tempelhof_International_Airport |

1980+ version for both the plastic bumper and the colour. I suspect a "Berlinetta" trim! Have You noticed the rare Fiat 500 F and the Daf 44 or 46 in the background ? -- Last edit: 2012-09-22 09:08:21 |

Quite probable. AFAIK you can rent that location for filming. At least in Berlin you can get nearly any location for that purpose. The town council is generous with that. In fact it's a quite important source of income for the town (which is one of the poorest German towns. In absolute numbers and averagely per the habitant's heads). -- Last edit: 2012-09-26 23:56:09 |

supossed to be City´s idea behind delay of opening of Schönefeld, to offer it as kind of replacement for Tempelhof as movie location ? especially when Tempelhof airfield is built up and you can´t use it for filming Airport scene anymore -- Last edit: 2012-09-27 01:01:00 |
