It is indeed a Duesenberg - just not a real one. Not a lot of Doozy replicas with moon wheels available - I believe this is a 'Duesenberg II' built by the Elite Heritage Motors Corp. of Elroy, Wisconsin. The picture seems to be slightly stretched, the resemblance is closer if we recompress it a bit. |

@Gamer I don't think it is. All the Elite Heritage cars I could find are boattail speedster cars or Dual Cowl phaetons or sedans of some sort, all without "Continental Kit" (I use that term because we're not talking about original Duesenbergs anyway). My bid would be something like these: 1971 Duesenberg SSJ Roadster Replica or 1935 (1974) Duesenberg Model SSJ Speedster Replica, both supposedly caused by the Duesenberg Corp. of Gardena, later Inglewood, California. Here's more info on that company (if you don't speak German, this is your moment to start with it...). ![]() It appears like these are not "Duesenberg II", but another "Duesenberg" instead - and the same probably goes for some of these. So how are we going to list it and the others in question? ![]() Edit: That looks to be a Duesenberg II by the Elite Heritage Motors Corp. /vehicle_45801-Duesenberg-II-SJ-1979.html -- Last edit: 2019-12-11 22:41:26 |

This is the one I was looking at, I forgot to link it: Link to "www.mecum.com" It came up when I was googling Elite’s Duesenbergs, which explains the mistake. -- Last edit: 2019-12-11 23:27:02 |
