C-10 Fleetside (E63) with the Silverado equipment package. Not quite factory correct, as some of the Silverado’s beauty décor is removed, cab lights have been added (not available on half-ton class pickups), and at some point the rear bumper was painted black. Unless replaced aftermarket, the engine is more than likely the 5.0 liter 16-valve 305 pushrod V-8 (most commonly found). The bigger, torque happy 5.7 liter 16-vavle 350 pushrod V-8 had been discontinued from the half-ton class pickups with the exception of those sold in California. |

Ahh, so she has the Oldsmobile Diesel V-8. The 5.7 liter Oldsmobile Diesel V-8 was loosely based on the 5.7 liter 16-vavle 350 pushrod V-8. The only things shared by the two engines were the same bore, stroke, and bolt arrangement. Otherwise the two engines were very different. |

The model number is "C10903". "C" obviously means rear-wheel drive, "10" means half-ton class, and "903" meant long-wheelbase. "E63" was the official body code for Fleetside (or Wideside if a GMC) with "E62" representing the Stepside (or Fenderside if a GMC). |
