It's a Phaeton conversion; no other company fitted the early '70s Continentals with a Mark IV grille centered between two courtesy lamps. FYI, it's a '73 Continental. Bumper w/5-mph extensions gives it away. -Kurt -- Last edit: 2010-10-30 07:32:04 |

Elvis had one like it, in white. http://my.net-link.net/~dcline/Elvis3_c.jpg His was a Phaeton-built car. -- Last edit: 2011-03-30 07:13:45 |

Correlates what I said before. Also note that the subject car may also be the same as the CHiPS car shown at: /vehicle.php?id=161558 Those coach lamps are unique, Phaeton-specific details - there's no reason why this car should be listed as an AHA. -Kurt -- Last edit: 2011-10-17 03:36:02 |

Not to be a pest, but the title should be revised to reflect the fact this is a Phaeton conversion - there's been a lot of evidence posted here to correlate the claim. -Kurt |

It's a Phaeton Limousine by Eagle Coach Co., Dallas, Texas (not to confuse with the other Eagle Coach Co. of Amelia, Ohio). The company traded as Eagle Coach of Dallas 1972-77, before it became Phaeton Coach Corp. 1977-82. |
