dsl ◊ 2012-07-04 23:19	Some witchcraft at work. Front sidelights and cream grille (main) and rear view with badging and 3 rear lights per side (2nd thumb) match 1963+ Minor 1000 Traveller. But not the split windscreen (54-57), nor the 795 DMC plate (1954-55 issue). Either a total mongrel or some fakery to make a 1963 car look older (is there a plot reason to do this?). -- Last edit: 2012-07-05 15:49:42
owlman ◊ 2012-07-04 23:41	No plot reason... The front is seen as shown in the main pic, then some windshield shots, and then the rear view. It's all meant to be the same vehicle.

DVLA details for 795 DMC are: Date of Liability 01 07 2013 Date of First Registration 03 12 1954 Year of Manufacture 1954 Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1098cc CO2 Emissions Not Available Fuel Type PETROL Export Marker N Vehicle Status Licence Not Due Vehicle Colour GREEN Vehicle Type Approval Not Available. Ingo ◊ 2012-07-14 15:21	@dsl: a very remarkable find here: Link to "www.ardmediathek.de" (after 1:54 about the re-introducing of expired county-codes on German plates) Not only that Minor Travellers were always extremely rare in Germany (AFAIK there ws no official import at all), this one has an original registration of the county Zell upon the river Mosel, which was terminated in 1969
Sunbar ◊ 2019-07-05 11:20	The divided windscreen is seen in the bus stop location as well as the close-up scenes, so agreed, a total mongrel based on a 1954 body. No film tricks here.
