-- Last edit: 2006-09-03 20:05:52 |

The car is a 1933 Buick. This beautiful and very exciting Buick is probably the Series 50, Model 56-C Convertible, of which only four were built for export from the U.S. Another 246 were built for the U.S. market. It has optional dual fenderwells (sidemounts) with metal covers, and a trunk rack. The Series 50 line had a 119-inch wheelbase. It could also possibly be a 127-inch wheelbase Model 66C, which had a larger engine. There were 152 Series 60, Model 66-C Convertibles, but none were ordered for export, apparently. This car also has headlamps that are European style. It is also interesting to see the Marchal and Michelin signs in the background of some of the shots. |
