This poor car for me isn't an E36. I think is a 5 E39. |

It seems a 2000 restyling version. |

BMW E38 740i and 740iL (also 750il V12) were beautiful cars when they appeared in 1995. Inside they were luxurious for driver and passengers with high quality leather, climate control and motorized sunshades. The iL was four inches longer in the rear door. The 4.4L V8 soon offered almost 300hp so performance was good for their size and they had electronic stability and traction control. As used cars, they quickly spiraled down in value because repairs were so expensive. The V12 750iL even more so: it effectively had two separate inline-6 engine control systems so two of everything under the hood. |

Please set year to 1995, as it as no chrome strip above the licence plate (later models have). Also, add "Made for Canada", as the Vienna scenes were filmed in Montreal. It has the same rims as Bond's BMW from Tomorrow never dies, by the way. -- Last edit: 2018-01-29 20:46:55 (walter) |
