1958-61 model 406 I think because the trim only goes back along the door and not full length. The last model with the Bristol 6 engine. |

Seems 407 did not have full length trim - http://www.bristolcars.co.uk/history.html - so not a diagnostic separation. According to https://boc.net/page.php?currPage=cars&sc=14 and https://boc.net/page.php?currPage=cars&sc=16 406 had roof-mounted flasher repeater lights, but 407 did not - see 406 picture http://www.bristolcars.co.uk/history/lrg-406-side.jpg . So this is 62+ 407. -- Last edit: 2012-05-20 01:24:59 |

Interesting to observe that according to the wikipaedia page - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bristol_407 - , the 407 has a bar across the grille - which because of the angle can't be seen in the car on this page. It is noticeable that the 407 on the Bristol page does not have it, although it does have body-colour painted wheels whch dsl used to identify this one as a 407 - /vehicle_440696-Bristol-407-1961.html - . I don't know enough about Bristols to know one way or the other what this is but it has silver wheels. |
