It was a regulation, valid between 1938 and 1956 over here ( http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anh%C3%A4ngerdreieck ), it has to be used for tours with a trailer. P.S. It was also used in France, Italy and Sweden, as Wiki says, too. P.S. An ÖAF would be very rare in Germany, much rarer than a Saurer or a Tatra. -- Last edit: 2012-02-16 18:59:50
