It's also a Grand Caravan (longer wheelbase).

It's a Grand Voyager, not a Caravan. Caravans had split grills.

Haha, I've watched that show forever, and I've noticed theres no identification badges on it at all. I guess they just wanted to use the stereotypical minivan.

Im gonna say it's a 1990 Grand Voyager LE. I think it's curious how the middle window opens up.

It says it's a 1989 model.

The only thing they got wrong is the fact that it says it's a Dodge Caravan. I think the wheels were changed. I noticed there's no hood ornament, and the "Plymouth" badge has been taken off. And I think the sliding window was removed.

This should be a 1989 model, not 1990, because it says so on Cinema Vehicles. I know it says it's a Dodge Caravan, but it's actually a Plymouth Grand Voyager.

it happens often that this kind of website give an approximative year for the vehicles

Link to "inventory.cinemavehicles.com"
Link to "inventory.cinemavehicles.com"

those 2 for example. both said to be 1990 but the second one has the 1991 turn signals on it

but i must admit that i don't know what exactly makes the Plymouth a 1990 over a 1989...

I checked on Cinema Vehicles, and the "shadow" of where the badge used to be on the tailgate looks too short to spell "Plymouth". The shadow was also slanted, so I guess it is a Dodge Grand Caravan, but with a replacement grille. And it looks like the steering wheel also belongs on a Dodge. So I guess we can change it to a 1989 Dodge Grand Caravan. But we should also add "with Plymouth grille" in the extra info just so nobody gets confused.

is there any proof it is the same car?
it is a fairly common model, and wheels do not match...
Also, this is an "old" TV series, renting cars from such companies seems a more recent trend (and it is not sure they keep the cars for so long)

Exactly! Because Cinema Vehicle Services has been around for more than 40 years now. They must've taking off the roof rack, and the sliding window has been replaced with a normal window again. But somebody should totally contact Cinema Vehicle Services to ask if it was the same van. If it is, then we should probably list it as a 1989 Dodge Grand Caravan since the "shadow" of where the badge used to be is too short to spell "Plymouth". But we should probably add "with Plymouth grille" so nobody gets confused.
