 1937 to 1939 Kadett 1074cc sidevalve 4 cylinders.
1936 to 1937 Olympia 1288cc sidevalve 4 cylinders.
1938 to 1939 Olympia 1488cc overhead valve 4 cylinders.

 I was thinking more about visual differences. Having done a bit of comparisons, I'd guess it's a 1938-40 (or postwar) Olympia [OL-38] due to the chrome side-trim.
