If anyone can tell what type of pattern at the grille insert are welcome to comment here Otherwise, it is the 1969/70 version of Chevrolet C-20. |

The "cab-side" rack is smaller than the one of a factory made C-20 stake: it's a platform with a custom made rack. But since 1960 Chevrolet no longer made stand-alone platforms (former code: xx08), so this truck is a platform made on a chassis cab (code: CS/CExxx03). As said in the brochures, "sturdy 8- and 9-foot platform bodies are available as regular production options for chassis-cab model". 5 chassis-cab models on 4 wheelbases were available, from the smallest ½-ton C-10 (115"/2.92 m) to the longest C-30 (157"/3.99 m wheelbase). Is there any clue to identify precisely this one? -- Last edit: 2015-03-08 23:50:13 |
