The producers bought lots of RHD cars in Japan and shipped them over. I saw a website (now disappeared) with photos of cars used for filming in Los Angeles -- some were imported from Japan, and some were American-specification Japanese cars which were presumably kept in the background of shots. |

The license plate space would be the same on a Japanese market version, so that doesn't help. |

This Capella & 626 uses same platform, but Capella is short & narrow than 626. So the whole outer panel is differlent from 626 .gif ";)") I bet it's 626 (1998-2002) |
