Not a Soviet car, it looks like a genuine Packard (cca. 1939).

1939 Six?
(Bumpers/guards are wrong for the car as are the fender mounted parking lamps.)

I think 1938 Six like /vehicle_320574-Packard-Six-1600-1938.html . In fact I think it might be the same car.

It must be the same car with those unique incorrect bumpers and fender lamps, Chris.
But aren't those 1939 style hood side vents?

Quite possibly. I'm no authority on Packards, but in Soviet Russia ...

Chris40, I agree that it looks to be the same car as in your link, based on the bumper overiders which look to be from a 1950s car and the spot light on the windshield pillar - and the non original hood ornament. It would probably be no surprise if it was found that there was not even a Packard engine under the hood. Oddly enough the door handles are drooping - a sure sign of a well used car - more in the 2005 pic than in the 2009 pic. Exactly what it was when it left the Packard factory I don't know.

We need an ID, though.
I vote 1939 Packard Six based on overall body style and hood side vent row.

We need to remember that getting the correct parts is difficult where the car is being used outside USA for its age.

If it is decided that this is a '39, then the other one will need to be changed as well

Don't think so; that's a 1937 with a one-piece screen. But I suspect /vehicle_177364-Packard-Six-1600-1938.html is Mosfilm's too, and may be the same car as this one.

Yep, Chris.
That one definitely looks to be the same car.

Жаль что не Роллс-Ройс и фильм не производства МосФильм, некоторые сцены снимались в Питере и в Питере есть музей "Лошадиная сила", как раз там есть тоже этот Паккард/It is a pity that not a Rolls Royce and film not MosFilm, Some scenes were filmed in St. Petersburg and there is a museum in St. Petersburg, "Loshadinaya sila" is just there, too, that Packard!
