1973+ Bestelwagen (I think Mega Mindy is Flemish?) with lowered suspension, non-original paint on bumpers and front air grille, extra louvres on the rear side, and (Italian?) white front indicators...

Those cheap headlight eyebrows again, especially Beetle owners find them irresistible.

Yes, Mega Mindy is a VRT series.

@DynaMike: these clear indicators are a popular "tuning" stuff, available for a plenty of classic and new cars. All reproduced stuff, nothing origin "made for I" As here: Link to "www.ebay.de" ;)

Sekurit-glass in the front screen. Illegal in the USA and Sweden since the 60ies. In other countries laminated frontscreens were an extra option for extra charge. VW has done that up to the 80ies. AFAIK the last model with a Sekurit-frontscreen was the Polo II [86C]

What is a Sekurit-frontscreen? What's so special about it, and why is it forbidden in some countries?

"Sekurit" is a trademark ( http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sekurit ) , but in Germany the common term for tempered glass: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Toughened_glass For safety reasons (the splinters can make you blind) windscreens of this material aren' allowed any more for new vehicles. After many years Germany and other countries have followed.
