Portugal forces vehicles are used in this film. It reminds the Berliet GBH 6x6 "Gazelle" but something wong in the bonnet shape.

As sixcyl says on the film's main page, this was shot in Portugal. Therefore, the truck is likely to be a Portugese-made Berliet-Tramagal:

Berliet or Berliet-Tramagel? The other one is listed as the latter.

Well, I think that if vehicle had "Berliet-Tramagal" badge it's more than enough.

Just to make things clear. This truck is a Berliet - Tramagal GBA.
During the Portuguese Colonial War, Berliet trucks, were manufactured under license,in Portugal by Metalurgica Duarte Ferreira, a company located in Tramagal.
The GBC model was the first to be manufactured. The GBA model, comes from the need to both, cut production costs (hence the simplified bonnet)and add extra cooling capacity to a truck that was always pushed beyond its limits.
