1949 Chrysler...but the movie is filmed in Ireland and UK. Dodge Kingsway was the model used by Chrysler for export markets but this one gets a lot of trim at the lower and I think the Kingsway was a very basic model. Kingsway or a real Chrysler? -- Last edit: 2011-02-08 11:59:33 |

1949 Chrysler ,appears a six cylinder most probably a Windsor ( C-45-W) ,postwar Royals being rarer especially in Europe .It is not a Dodge Kingsway : those were shorter ( 118 1/2 inch wheelbase compared to 125 1/2 inch for the six cylinder Chryslers) , had the Dodge Ram hood mascot , no front and rear fender rocker panels and smaller taillights |

Love those late '40's/early '50's Mopar sedans. Especially in dark colors! |

Windsors were built in Dublin 1947-51 in fits and starts - including C38W, C48 and C51 alongside various Plymouths. |
