The doorhandle looks Ford-ish, also the rest, for example like a Taunus [TC1] - but does it have the fuel filler on the left side? AFAIK mainly cars from RHD-countries, Britian an Japan, have it there. |

I was thinking Opel Rekord [C] (at least the Caravan had the gas filler cap door there), but the door handles don't match... Our Panhard has te gas filler cap on that side as well |

I think Ingo is right. |

All Taunus TC1 (even RHD-vehicles) had the fueltank on the right side. The filling-pipe was nearly vertically and had a twist-lock. Japanese cars normally have the tank on the left side. |

A RHD Taunus TC1 would be a very rare beast - AFAIK there were none - so interested if anyone knows anything, particularly why and where. The shape here looks wrong for a Cortina Mk3 (eg UK tourist in F). |

Thailand maybe? Or Japan or Hongkong? |

Japan and HK were Cortina Mk3 markets - which does not stop possibility of parallel TC1, but makes chances lower. Thailand possible in theory, but it had various UK Fords such as Anglia, Corsair, earlier Cortina. |

Looks like a 1973 Mazda 616... http://up.picr.de/15990399hv.jpg |
