The movie is 01:20:53 time long and the Chrysler Imperial (51-52) is stolen at 00:15:00. 'Bad Boys' are in it or next to it until 01:02:00 (47 minutes where the car is part of the movie) but I think it's only the car used by bad boys on their get away. Is it enough reason for 5*****? I don't think so. The car lacks of the icon character to be a 5*. After checking some of the 19 pages of 5***** vehicles I'd downgrade some (most?) of them. For me 5***** vehicle means that you don't understand that movie without that special vehicle. The movie would be different.

Lots are wrongly used indeed. It is supposed to be a kind of "4 stars but with a little more", that little more being either a car very famous, which is immediately identified to the movie, or a car which is the main subject of the movie. Like Christine, Knight Rider, etc. But it is often difficult to decide if it is valid or not, maybe we should remove that 5-star rating...

Could a Chrysler/Imperial expert comment?

I have done image searches on 1951 and 1952 Chrysler Imperials trying to see if there is any visual difference.
Noticed that on all the photos labeled 1952, an "Imperial" nameplate appeared on the lower right trunklid whereas on (nearly) every one listed as 1951, the nameplate (same position) reads "Chrysler".
Is this a legitimate m.y. difference or was it perhaps a running change?
