A bus with RHD and whitewall tyres - might have been well-known in Madrid in 1958?? Ex-London?? |

We've got British-made double deckers in other old Spanish films. It seems they were standard Madrid buses in the fifties. Example: /vehicle_179095-Leyland-Titan-TD7.html -- Last edit: 2010-11-18 13:39:37 |

AFAIK, it seems Madrid got some Leyland, as Gag Halfrunt said above, and some Guy Arab. But this looks a Leyland See bottom of this page Link to "www.camionesclasicos.com" |

Interesting - passenger platform on both looks to be correct side for LHD pavements. Presume therefore that Madrid deliberately chose RHD buses with LHD bodies, not ex-London cast-offs. Still British manufacture?? |

It's a Leyland Titan, but the body's not ex London. |

Madrid took several batches of Leyland Titan PD2 doubledeckers with this layout, but I can't tell you which batch this is from. |
