No . See at the mirrors? That's a 1975 model.

It really is a composite of a number of Ford models. The 75 model didn't have vent windows on the rear doors like this and the taillights are from a a 1979 period model. Mister car from 971 wasn't incorrect.

1978, in the Ep. 9.13 Peter Griffin said that "because this is 1978 Lois"

But would you really trust anything Peter Griffin says? He's not exactly the brightest bulb on the tree is he?

A few screenshots from 3.12, To Love and Die in Dixie. While in the South, Peter decides to paint the family wagon like the General Lee. Hilarity insues, as usual. We also get to the under the hood of this car too. The last screenshot is one of my favorites of the episode. :D

is true that is 1975, but they didn't put much detail on it. And it has missing passenger door handles. http://familyguy.wikia.com/wiki/1975_Ford_LTD_Station_Wagon

According to Family Guy Wiki, the car's model year was a 1975 model. Also, why don't you give this car 5 stars. It's in EVERY episode ever made (or 99.99% all episodes).

The Family Guy Wiki is not an ultimate source as in the end, it can be edited by anyone. We've had this tired discussion many times already: The car will stay without a model year as it is too generic to identify specifically. And 4 stars is enough. It is the vehicle of a main character, not a main character like, say, the General Lee in Dukes of Hazzard.

I'm pretty sure this is a 1977 model, because I don't think they made a red one in 1975 or 1976 as far as I know. The only reason the director said it was a 1975 is just because this body style was made from 1975-1978.

Come to look again, this is pretty much a 1979+ model with a 1975-78 details mix in.

Rest of the body match.
