Coupé or Wagon? |

It was originally meant by BMW as a first try to release a Wagon with a sportive appeal. |

How many of these were made? My father had two of these at one time. |

5783 Tii were built, 31195 Tourings in total: Link to "www.bmw-02-club.de" |

There's a dark green 1973 model of these around my block. I could post a picture of it on the forum. |

I like these odd Sporty estate cars you would get in the 70s like this, the Volvo P1800ES, the Reliant Scimitar GTE and so on. Am I going mad or did they was there a similar Jensen Healey? -- Last edit: 2010-10-06 22:20:40 |

For me it is an attractive design. Probably massively rare now. Hence, why I had such a sketchy memory of it. |

Would 2000 tii have such boring wheels? 1602 or 1802?? |
◊ 2010-10-06 23:08 |

I remember, that there were an ADIDAS-advertise in the 70ies, with the back of such an orange BMW touring. @Ralph: bis Samstag? |
◊ 2010-10-07 13:16 |
Actually 1602, not 1600. Link to "www.realoem.com" |

According to Ralph's site the name changed in August 1973: Link to "www.bmw-02-club.de" (and that's also according to my period catalogues). |

The name change would match the facelift which put bigger rear lights on the saloon 02. Therefore all 02 tourings would have the later front grille styles?? |
