If the red colour is original it´s a 1957-58 model, and it´s probably imported to britain in 1961 when the registrys didn´t have a field for either "year of manufacture" or the cars modelyear. The modern DMV system just makes an assumption that the car is new when entered into the system, it has nothing to do when it´s actually built.
