Looks like 1968 Shelby Mustang, not sure whether GT-350 or GT-500 or whether or not authentic. |

that is a GT500KR for sure, you can't see the name due to blurred pics and grey primer covering part of the logo, but the nose, the hood and the roll bar tell the tale, if it is not a true KR, the producers went through alot of trouble to pass it off as a true King Of The Road GT500.(which i highly doubt they did, considering the sad shape in which they chose to film this badass ride.) |

The 1968 GT350, GT500, and GT500KR have identical exterior steel and fiberglass body panels, hood, roll-bar, etc. The *only* way of telling from the exterior is if you could make out what it says in the rocker panel striping. |

This car speaks volumes about Crash. He most likely bought this car with his signing bonus, just like Nuke buys the porshe. He has bounced around the minor leagues long enough to let this Shelby fall into it's current state of disrepair. The car speaks to Crash's past, and how he was just like Nuke when he entered the minors. |

"Kevin Costner with his 1968 Shelby Mustang GT 350H convertible. This car appeared with him in the movie "Bull Durham". He liked the car so much that he acquired it after the movie." So unless he's lying about it, I think this solves the mystery of GT500 vs GT500KR vs GT350 vs GT350H. |
