Also some 406 as background cars, like on the last image from the thumbnails above, and one in the crash with the Saxo: /vehicle.php?id=15413 -- Last edit: 2005-12-21 01:11:45 |

It gives out more smoke from the exhaust than from the tyres, but it was the 3.0 V6. |

I don't think there's any evidence that any of the cars used were the 3.0 V6 model, it's never said so in any of the DVD featurettes or the director's commentary and all the badges have been removed. Do we just assume that they decided to use 3 litre models rather than the 2 litre to keep up with the BMW M5/535i? -- Last edit: 2019-09-09 21:44:41 |

Although there is the engine noise (Director John Frankenheimer says on the DVD that they specially recorded the cars' engine sounds) but I can't tell a 4 cylinder engine from a V6 one. Does anyone want to have a listen? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MxxH0lZSYgU -- Last edit: 2019-09-09 21:46:06 |

Here you have an 2.0i 4 cylinder https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W24c257Io_g This one is a stock V6 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KPm5nAmGsFI I'd say that at least the sound was from a V6. Btw, those rims were from a V6, but they could've been easily changed as they did with the 535i and the A8 |
