the front one is either RK47 1500 or RK100 1900 1965-67 and the one at the back is RK101 1967-1978 |

the toyota reference page is based off US models and the timeline of sales in the US. RK45 started in 1960 with the 1500 R engine, 1962 brought the introduction of \"lite\" RK40 1500 R engine, 1963 came RK100 1900 3R engine and RK41 1900 3R engine toyopet. 1964 toyopet name was dropped for the export market, 1965 due to complaints of lack of room in the cabin came the cabin extension in export models a new grille the RK41 became the RK41-L and with the end of production of the R engine the RK45 became RK47 and the RK40 - RK43 with 2R engines. in the US there were only 4 units sold in 1964 and yet more than that were imported so they were sold as 1965 and even 1966. as an owner of a 1962 RK45 i have researched every day online the stout and comment via my understanding. |

The 1961 - 1964 models in SA were known as Toyopets. Toyota then dropped the Toyopet name. |
