I would say it is a Lagonda 2.6 Litre Drophead Coupé (1948-53).

Confirmed as Lagonda in the movie.....

but the description was a bit over the top...."Aston Martin Lagonda Drop-head Cabribolet"

Lovely looking car.

We have a car listed as "Aston-Martin Lagonda" on the site, so it is only Lagonda or Aston-Martin Lagonda ?

Lagonda in this case is the manufacturer ...so this listing is ok.

'Lagonda cars' is owned by Aston Martin and the overall company name was Aston Martin Lagonda Limited.

But there was also an Aston Martin model - Lagonda - a four door sedan in the early 1970s.

So both can be / are correct.

I was meaning that one: /vehicle_168-Aston-Martin-Lagonda-Drophead-1949.html
It should be listed as Lagonda rather than Aston-Martin I guess?

Yes , both cars should be listed under Lagonda rather than Aston Martin as do most reference works .In 1947 , Lagonda was taken over by the David Brown group of companies and for this reason the cars were sometimes named Aston Martin Lagonda. But the concept and engine design was still of Bentley origin ( his last one)and truly Lagonda. In period ads they were also always advertised as Lagondas.
