This is one of two cars used for the scene. It survived the jump with minor subframe damage. Tough little car!

I've read that this scene was filmed on Route 154 (also known as the San Marcos Pass) near Santa Barbara, but when I looked at it on street view, it does NOT match the road where they filmed this scene. The road in this movie seems more narrow and windier than Route 154. They must've made a mistake.
