If that were a 1958 GMC it would have four headlights. This is a 1957. I'd like a close-up of the grille to find out the exact model.

Well, I have to correct myself, because this is a 1956.

I don't think they did. GMC's version of the Cameo was called the "Town and Country." I'm surprised Chrysler didn't sue them over that.

Shoot.... finally a '56 and you guys beat me to it. It is a '56 GMC, not sure of the exact model number, could be 100 or 250. Also noticed that there looks like a V8 badge on the side of the fender below the body line, and the big back window. A rare truck, methinks.

GMC's version of the Chevy Cameo was also called a "Suburban Carrier"

Part of the 1955-59 Blue Chip truck line. With the 1955 only grille extension panels (metal pieces between the park lamps and the bumper), which are usually chromed or at least painted same color as the grille, but overpainted on this truck.
As 150, its GMC code was 152 (=¾-ton 150 model on the 2nd available wheelbase). Or 152-8 if using the V8 engine, as shown here by the second fender emblem below the fender line.
