sixcyl wrote An US convertible on the right

DynaMike wrote I don't know what the small sedan is, but the US convertible looks pretty much like a 1939 Cadillac. Must be quite rare.

Sunbar wrote The rear of the vehicle with the white plate on the back is a pre-war London taxi.

With little detail to be seen its not possible to say which, although the Austin 12/4 was most the most common.

The other cars parked in front of the taxi seem to be more modern. The Other cab at the pedestrian crossing looks to be an Austin FX3 with what could be a Humber Hawk or Super Snipe in front of it.

Location Sloane Square, London with Peter Jones department store at the back.

Can't see the radiator of LL taxi behind the American sedan, surely. It looks earlier than the pre-war taxi coming the other way. Sunbar's eagle eye spotted the probable Super Snipe. There is a nice close-up of a 12/4 taxi with painted/enamelled radiator surround in 'The Little Hut' (1957) which doesn't seem to be on imcdb.
