Vin 1C3GYB2R3TU140569 Scrapped...

None of the decoders are working for this one.... en.vindecoder.pl says 403 forbidden. Tried on and off wifi. Weird.

I tried other VINs and indeed vindecoder.pl is not working
Anyway, LE trim I'd say for this one

Seems to have American origin based on the VIN information

Serial number: 140569
VIN type: normal
Check digit: not valid

Manufacturer: Chrysler Corporation LLC

They all do? You can’t decode Austrian built VINs with a NA decoder. Please do not confuse the masses here. The WMI indicates it is an American product. It was built in Austria. The plant is the 11th digit.

Edit: all EU Austrian built Mopars have US WMI.

As said before the address on en.vindecoder.pl is the US address based off the WMI. That is NOT the plant address. Please DO NOT remove Austria and made for EU (it could be debated as made for S if head lamp washers are present).

Did you mean the factory location code is 'U' from this VIN?

The 11th digit is always the plant code for 1981+ mopars.

Thanks, dhill_cb7.

Of course. Sorry if I came off rude. Not my intention. I don’t have an EU mopar factory decoder so I can’t link the specific body codes for you. If one surfaces I will indeed i form our great database of members

Not a problem, dhill_cb7.

We all work together to solve massive amount of puzzle here.

By the way, could this be made from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magna_Steyr ?
