I see, someone set [NG/SK] as chassis code - yes that's what we always did with these trucks, but I think we will have to change it. As I've translated the description on German Wiki, they say that NG was the name of the MB trucks made between the 1973 and 1988, and SK was their succesor (well with the same, but heavy modified cab) - in other words NG can't be SK and SK can't be NG - it is different vehicle from different production period. But confirmation is needed of someone who know the language, as very possible that I misunderstood something: http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mercedes-Benz_NG

Anyone knows German here? ;) Or we leave them like they are listed now?

Interesting site, indeed. And you're right, the SK (1988-1998) was the successor of the NG (1973-1988).

NG (Neue Generation / New Generation) started in 1973 and has the stepped side windows as in the picture here.
Since 1975 turn-over cabin.
Since 1980 there are windflaps on the corners next to the plain grille, and the badges and mirrors are black. Possiblity of a cabin with raised roof
Since 1985 smaller badges with silver writing.
Military versions date from 1977-1988 and were all 1017 or 1017A.

SK (Schwere Klasse / Heavy Class) started in 1988 and had sloped side windows and a bigger grille and windflaps on the corner, making them look like one entity.
In 1994 there was a light facelift at the front.

Thank you very much, and good work with renaming them!
The thing, which I've modiefied a bit is that I've deleted the SK and NG letters from the "model name" field, now they are only in the "chassis code" where you have added them. As we could see, these letters didn't appear on the badges where were only numbers.
