ben68 ◊ 2005-11-28 14:06	1977 Lotus Esprit. In "The Spy Who Loved Me", Bond uses it to run away from the villains leaded by Stromberg by diving into the ocean. The car can in fact be converted in a submarine and has a lot of gadgets such as torpedos, rockets, mines etc. At the box-office of the 007 cars, the 1977 submarine Esprit comes at the 2nd place, just behind the 1964 DB5. -- Last edit: 2005-11-28 14:14:13

From the Bonhams.com site: "The white 1976 Lotus Esprit from the 1977 film The Spy Who Loved Me, starring Roger Moore and Barbara Bach, will be sold by the international auctioneers on 1 December at its annual motoring Auction Sale at Olympia, in West London. The car is expected to fetch £100,000-120,000." Happy bidding!
