HazyCosmicJive ◊ 2010-04-06 07:08	Odd car, but it's growing on me. And strangely, it kind of matches Walter's geeky side. Like him it also has some battle scars- broken windshield, missing a hubcap... In fact, all the cars in this show seem to fit the characters very well. You can tell they thought about them and didn't just do it randomly or out of convenience. Jesse gets the beat up Tercel, small but tough, like him. Skylar matches the Wagoneer well- largish and the wood paneling denotes suburban housewife (which she was at the beginning of the series). Mike the "cleaner" drives shady old sedans like himself. Hank's jeep definitely suits him... I'm thinking too much, but I love this show!

Breaking Bad producers used three Azteks making the show. One will remain on display at the Sony studios in Culver City and one is a parts car. This is the third -- a 2003 that was a crash vehicle. Its rear quarter is pretty much wrecked, and the glass is broken, so it'll need some work. OK, it'll need a whole lot of work. Still, it's Walter White's Aztek. Which makes it one of the most recognizable cars on television. The vehicle is not in driving condition and is sold as-is.

L67guy ◊ 2018-01-02 06:04	Not sure why people say it's a 2004. 2003 was the last year for the "hang glide" interior and the open headrests which all the cars had. In 2004, they had different seats. 2003 was also the first year for the Grand Prix Snowflake wheels. Unless there is definitive proof that 2004s were used, then I say they were all 2003s.
