I don't know if this detail if enough to difference between 75 and 76 only with this pic but, while for 75 the front turn lights glasses looked straights and plains, for 76 same turn lights had two littles parallels mouldings bars on them and the car in main pic really have them. Only in this case the car would be a 76 Cadillac Fleetwood 75 Limousine (all model name). According to my info in 77+ the name changed into Fleetwood Limousine and 75 was dropped. Animatronixx and Mr.Cadillac, later, will give us a hand in this question. -- Last edit: 2011-06-22 02:37:05 (G-MANN) |

This is a 1976 Fleetwood Limousine per the turn lights as vilero pointed out plus the block letter FLEETWOOD badge on the fender, the '75's used script. As for the naming convention - in '76 The two models were the Fleetwood Nine Passenger Sedan and Fleetwood Limousine. The difference being that the Limousine came with a power glass divider and the front compartment was black with a leather bench seat. The Nine Passenger Sedan had no divider and the front seat was also a bench that matched the upholstery and design of the rear seat and was of course the same color. They were still classified as Series 75 internally but not in ads or brochures. In '77 they changed to Fleetwood Limousine and Fleetwood Formal Limousine with the 'Formal' being the model with a divider. -- Last edit: 2009-04-02 17:56:51 |
