On the British Hillman Avenger: /vehicle_135446-Hillman-Avenger-1973.html O.k., I just can remind this name, but I thik, it's one more of these cars, which got a plenty of names. In that times, the Rootes-company, where several, former independed British car-companies were bended, had a very confusing way to name their cars. But our expert will know more. But not to forget: these Rootes-cars had been quite much responsible for the desastrous image of British cars of the 70ies in other countries. -- Last edit: 2009-02-23 22:52:24 |

The two VW 1500 on the site were listed as origin=Argentina, was it very close to the UK car or just loosely based on it? |

It looks identical with Hillman (except the bumpers). |
