DynaMike ◊ 2009-01-20 15:01	Nice It's a Pallas version, and by the headrests I guess it will be at least a 1969+ model. The colour could only be Bleu Platine (AC 632), available in 1970/71, though it looks a bit too pale. The 1971 model would have had the roof in the same colour. So my guess would be a 1970 DS 21 Pallas.

DynaMike ◊ 2009-03-25 11:54	Thanks. Many lower line DS's have been transformed to Pallas versions. All visible extra trim indicates Pallas, but indeed it is still possible that the car originally was a DSpecial or the like.

Kapteeni ◊ 2010-01-08 10:17	In ep. 2.08 there are clearly two different cars. They have different plates and different headlamps. The one with euro-spec headlamps has a DS20 badge on the boot lid.
APS221 ◊ 2010-01-09 02:10	Yes it looks like they have changed cars for Season 2. I'm no expert on Citroens, but I found this post on a Citroen blog: Link to "citbitz.com" It appears they used the US-spec. 1971 DSpecial with DS Pallas trim in the first season. It appears they a using a Euro-spec. 1972 DS20. That would also explain the different answers to the same question in those magazines. Don't go by the license plate, that 258PCE license plates is a fake/prop. If someone can get good screencaps, they might want to add the new vehicle.

Je pensais qu'elle appartenait à Simon Baker, vu que c'est lui qui l'a imposée parce qu'il refusait que Patrick Jane se déplace en 4x4 tout neuf comme dans les autres séries policières (ce qu'il fait pourtant les 3/4 du temps, la Citroën n'apparaissant que trop rarement).

Snack ◊ 2013-06-01 16:54	J'ai une vue de la première voiture dans l'épisode 17 de la saison 1 que tout le monde dit être une DSpéciale transformée en version Pallas où l'on voit bien le logo doré "DS 21" avec des chevrons également dorés. Qui plus est, tout au long de l'épisode, on aperçoit les panneaux intérieurs de porte qui sont clairement des panneaux de DS Pallas. Je doute sincèrement qu'ils aient changé la peinture, tout l'intérieur, ajouté les chevrons doré et le logo DS 21, avec un tel niveau de détail, pour finalement laisser les "US Spec" avec les feux rond et les phares globuleux. Cela me semble étrange tout de même. C'est la deuxième voiture utilisée dans la série, la Pallas à boite hydraulique et avec des feux et phares français, qui avait été utilisé dans ce film : /vehicle_306266-Citroen-DSpecial.html qui a été achetée à la Warner et repeinte pour remplacer la première DS du Mentaliste que l'on voit dans la première et au début de la deuxième saison. Cette deuxième voiture est une DS 20 (/vehicle_584228-Citroen-DS-20-1972.html) plus récente comme on le voit dans l'épisode 8 de la saison 2 lorsque Patrick Jane arrive à l'hôpital.
