I'm thinking a Chevrolet Caprice...maybe even an Impala? |

Any better shots? |

nope. |

Did the Impala come with that round side mirror on the standard civilian version? If not, I'm leaning toward a Caprice also. -- Last edit: 2008-12-20 06:00:15 |

could it be a Malibu? |

No, not a Malibu, its either an Impala or Caprice (just have to find out which one) |

It's a Caprice, the Impala's never even came with a right side mirror. http://www.oldcarbrochures.com/main.php?g2_itemId=27915 -- Last edit: 2008-12-21 05:03:48 |

Also it's a 1980+ model |
◊ 2008-12-23 02:24 |
Are you sure about that? Then why would this 1980 Impala have a passenger side mirror? /vehicle_5588-Chevrolet-Impala-1980.html |

Maybe it was added on. Plus even if it did come from the factory, you'll notice that is the older style square chrome mirror, while this one is the body-colored "aero" kind, which I think was reserved for Caprices. |

Impalas had them too. Example: /vehicle_68956-Chevrolet-Impala-1980.html |

Hmmm... this is quite strange, I've been looking through these brouchures and it seems that it is basically random which ones had the aero mirrors and which ones don't: http://www.oldcarbrochures.com/main.php?g2_itemId=27886 |

Maybe there's a difference in trim, or some of the cars simply came with them while others didn't. |
