Belgish estate Escort were named Turnier (as in Germany) , Estate (as in UK) or whatelse?

I don't know for 1969, but according to my info in 1976 the Escort wagon was called 'Stationwagon' in Holland and Belgium.

That's true... In 1973 the Mk.I was also called Stationwagon in Holland. Bu my info doesn't say anything about the names in Belgium (unlike the later catalogues). And my catalogue from 1969 doesn't even mention the wagon versions :/

I can't be sure that Turnier was the name in France too?... I really can't remember having seen any in France , this Escort version beeing very very rare there, and I even wonder if it was saled in France :think:

The 1970 Belgian brochure says Break:

By the way, as this model was first introduced by Ford UK, and as the German production started only in January 1970 (de), shouldn't it have a UK origin?
